OUR STORY

Welcome to Musicology Lab Piano Learning System, where our inspiring journey has just begun, and we believe that the universe has led you to our page for a reason. We invite you and your child to become part of our story, where music and language come together in a groundbreaking approach.

The Musicology Lab  Piano Learning System, is the culmination of over 30 years of dedicated research, including the little hands and voices of over 5000 students from 11 Montessori schools. We have harnessed this wealth of knowledge to create a comprehensive curriculum kit, thoughtfully translated into 5 languages, making it easily accessible for schools worldwide

Our founder, Zoe Madewell’s pioneering spirit, made history by opening her city’s first performing arts school, which rapidly grew to 500 students and earned a nomination for National Music School of the Year. Many of her  piano students have advanced to study with master teachers, winning awards and college scholarships

Our groundbreaking fusion of music and language is igniting a global revolution in education. With enthusiasm resonating from Dallas to more than 5 schools in Dubai, preschools and music schools are eagerly embarking on this exhilarating journey with us.

At Musicology Lab, we embrace the spirit of a laboratory, where innovation and discovery are at the core of our curriculum. Our program is a collaboration of world class educators, and our current methodology is just the starting point. With an infinitely curious and scientific spirit, our licensed teachers will continuously innovate and explore new and improved ways to teach music and language, with the students becoming the true teachers, and the educators serving as guides in this dynamic learning environment.

Welcome to the Musicology Lab See it. Say it. Play it. Learning System. Our proven techniques fuse the joy of music with the wonder of language. Did you know that your can learn to play piano with both hands? Our expert instructors use innovative and original music and games to make learning piano and a second language fun and exciting for children as young as 3 years old. Early beginning is the key to unlocking the mystery of learning music and language.

The brain is most receptive to learning music and language before the age of 7.

Take advantage of this critical period of development where children have heightened brain plasticity which allows them to absorb new information and skills easily. Studies show that students who learn a second language from an early age, learn it faster and retain it longer when it is taught through songs, chants, and rhythms. Our systems and methods have been proven to work for students with learning differences such as ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia. Our program is inclusive and beneficial to all learners and adapts beautifully to inspire wonder and ignite the spark for a lifelong love for the arts.
